Business Loan Sales Officer

Type: Full Time
Location: Hybride (WFH/New York, Toronto, San Diego, Boston)

Overview

Supports the delivery of an exceptional customer experience to business clients. Provides a superior level of courteous, knowledgeable and professional service to all existing and potential clients displaying a comprehensive knowledge of products. Recognizes the appropriate time to proactively identify and discuss clients’ needs and works collaboratively with the branch and regional teams to identify and make referrals. Ensures compliance and operational effectiveness.

  • Assists in preparing new business proposals or presentations to clients/prospects.
  • Identifies and recommends workflow process alternatives to improve efficiency and service levels.
  • Determines client needs and ensures timely and accurate completion of transaction processing.
  • Takes ownership of client inquiries/ concerns/ complaints, ensuring timely resolution and referring as appropriate.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge and understanding of integrated private banking services and
    offerings, as well as a detailed account of the strategic direction of the business.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
  • Analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Reviews overdraft and other monitoring report with Private Banker and actions accordingly.
  • Strives to exceed client service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth.
  • Develops rapport and instills confidence in the client to build credibility and earn their trust.
  • Provides timely, accurate service and support to Private Bankers by completing various credit, non-credit, and related activities.

Regional Sales Director in Canada and United States

Overview

Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Regional Sales Director in Canada and United States, reporting to the CEO. As a seasoned sales professional working in group benefits for an ancillary (product/service) provider, group specialty market, insurer, or a benefits advisory firm, you will target businesses in central Canada by developing strategies to maximize employee participation in voluntary benefits plans.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop a sales plan for the central region that aligns with the Canadian and the United States Business Plan
  • Responsible for regional sales objectives and measured based on sales goals achievement
  • Ensure full market coverage of all distribution market sources in the central region
  • Possess a hunter mentality to actively prospect new partners to expand distribution in the central region
  • A demonstrated ability to explore and assess non-traditional distribution opportunities
  • Develop strategies to maximize employee participation in voluntary benefits plans by conducting employee education sessions in person and virtually
  • Represent the Avon River Ventures’ brand by attending industry events

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Health Sciences, or a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Business to Business sales experience
  • Related experience in life/health insurance (preferably group benefits).
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • The ideal candidate is a sales professional working in group benefits for an ancillary (product/service) provider, group specialty market, insurer, or a benefits advisory firm.
